Q:
Dear Michelle,
I am getting married in a year. As every girl wants to look their absolute best on their wedding day, I was thinking of getting some treatments (Botox, laser, fillers, anything)! How long before the wedding should I start, and what treatment options do you recommend? Also, is there a certain time I should stop the treatments before my wedding?

A:
Dear Princess Bride,
Congratulations on your engagement! It might be a good idea to come in soon for us to begin planning your treatment options over the course of the next year. As you mentioned, Botox or Dysport can be used to rejuvenate the upper one third of your face and open your eyes. Another common treatment is filler, such as Restylane or Juvederm, which can be used to replace volume in the cheeks and naturally enhance the lips. Of course, skin care is just as important. Laser resurfacing can diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments can be performed to address facial redness and skin discoloration. Our estheticians can also evaluate your skin and create a skin care plan for you. There are many simple treatment options that can be performed to look and feel your best on your wedding day!
